HerMeNow is a growing women-led accelerator program that provides financial and non-financial opportunities for women-owned social enterprises to grow and expand their businesses. Starting in 2021, HerMenow partnered with Bloom, experts in the industry for more than 14 years, helping individuals, enterprises, and accelerators in the Middle East and Africa boost their impact and growth.
With this collaboration, HerMeNow has successfully completed two cycles of the Accelerator program in 2022 and 2023, resulting in twenty finalists receiving financial grants, training, and mentorship opportunities, as well as a one-week retreat in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, which included excellent opportunities for the finalists to attend Design and Networking Workshops, STEP Conference Dubai-UAE, a Wellness Day, and the opportunity to present their projects to a multifaceted audience.
Most accelerator programs die out after the program is over; they face the challenge of participant disengagement and, sometimes, dissolution of enterprises within a year due to lack of support and unfavorable circumstances. For HerMeNow, the cycle doesn’t end with the accelerator program. HerMeNow strives to make a lasting impact by providing holistic solutions to its participants during and after the program. Mrs. Natacha Fazal Karim, the founder of the HerMeNow program, genuinely invests in providing continuous support to the participants post-program and has taken several steps to expand the post-program reach. This is so that the participants can continue to receive financial and non-financial support after a cycle has ended.
It can take years for startups to break even and find stability to sustain themselves. The need for more resources and guidance is one of the biggest challenges newly founded social enterprises in the Middle East and Africa face. The HerMeNow post-program engagement is designed to cater to these challenges. Technical and Financial Support
Through its recent partnership with Rama Impact, HerMeNow can now provide technical and financial support for women-led social enterprises post-Accelerator Program. RAMA Impact addresses two critical challenges with its tailored mentoring and financial solutions: the significant funding gap for early-stage women-owned social enterprises prevalent in the region, as well as the mounting social and environmental issues faced by its communities.
This partnership allows the participants to empower and uplift early-stage women-owned high-impact social enterprises in the Middle East and Africa, where access to loans and mentoring opportunities can be challenging.
Rama Impact is a holistic approach that includes short-term financial assistance and a range of valuable initiatives. These initiatives encompass one-to-one intervention-based programs, wellbeing programs, mentorship programs, and access to a thriving online community of like-minded women.

Mental Health Support
It is no secret that early-stage entrepreneurs work for ten to twelve hours most days at startups, which can be mentally and emotionally exhausting. Women entrepreneurs struggle with work-life balance and often feel overwhelmed and isolated due to a lack of emotional support within the family and community. The HerMeNow post-program wellness initiative is designed to provide the participants with the mental and emotional support they require to flourish.
The HerMeNow coaching sessions provide the participants with practical tools they can implement in their professional and personal lives to manage stress and strategies to deal with the challenges faced in the present to help them thrive in their personal and professional lives.
Mrs. Natacha Fazal Karim emphasizes the importance of mental, emotional, and physical health and understands that it may not be accessible to all. Therefore, the wellness initiative aims to provide the finalists with the opportunity to improve their holistic wellbeing.

Dedicated to creating a wholesome post-program engagement, HerMeNow’s design team provides the finalists with post-program design support. Whether they are looking to brainstorm ideas about their website, guidance on color palettes that truly represent their brand, or a logo redesign, HerMeNow’s skillful design and creative team take pride in extending their support to the participants.

The HerMeNow Newsletter
